Black Olive Pâté - La Chinata
Ex Tax: 3.50€
In principle, ‘Pâté’ is a French invention, from the Middle Ages, which basically means ‘paste’. It is said that the first olive paste, also known as ‘tapanade’ or ‘olivada’ originated in the Provence, although some affirm that it already existed before in other Mediterranean countries, like Greece and Italy.
La Chinata has selected a range of Mediterranean products, like olives, peppers, tomato, porcini mushrooms, etc. and has turned them into tasty and delicious pâtés enriched with its own Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which are tempting and exquisite appetizers, simply spread on a slice of toast or freshly baked bread.
Moreover, their gastronomical possibilities are sheer endless... You can add them to salads, pastas, pizzas, or use them to accompany fish, white meat or vegetables. As part of vinaigrette, they are an original new way of dressing a salad.
We recommend eating these pâtés with La Chinata Picos, Rosquitas or Regañas.
