First Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil 'Arbequina' by Molino Alfonso
Founded in 1907, Molino Alfonso has for over 100 years been producing of the finest Extra Virgin Olive Oil from their own centenary olive trees in the historic village of Belchite, Aragon (Spain), in which time they have won numerous national and international awards.
This Extra Virgin Olive Oil of the Arbequina olive variety has been made from olives harvested from the best olive trees at their optimum moment of maturity at the end of October to produce the first oil of the season.
The excellent quality and freshness of the first olives, together with the rigorous process of cold extraction, minimizing the time between harvesting and grinding, are the secret to this exceptional and balanced oil.
This oil is green in colour, with a smooth character and pleasant taste, with hints of tomato and freshly cut grass. Perfect for everyday use, especially in salads and vegetable dishes.
